Jack Hunt has been covering the Iowa Legislature since 1995, and is one of the longest-serving members of the Statehouse press corps becoming a member of the Pioneer Lawmakers Association in 2017. Jack also served as a contributing editor for State Tax Notes on Iowa tax issues for many years. He received his BA degree from Beloit College and graduated cum laude from the University of Iowa College with a JD and an LLM. In 2020, he has added a new role and will serve as a correspondent for the “Now You’ve Heard it All” program on MyBoomer Radio out of Omaha, with Matt O’Daniel Honda and Representative John Jacobsen.
